Leonard Philip Dubuque

Leonard Philip Dubuque, age 78, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Lake View Care Center. Len was born on May 27, 1942 in Grand Forks, ND to Ernest and Frances Dubuque. He, along with his parents and 4 siblings, lived in various locations across the country. During his high-school years Len lived in Billings where he experienced Montana for the first time. As a young man he served in the Vietnam War, which he often spoke of as one of the greatest experiences of his life. After serving in the Army he pursued a career with the Postal Service in Washington D.C., where he later married and began raising a family. His love for Montana never left his thoughts and his dream came true when he retired at 50 and moved his family to Polson in 1993. He was known by many for his sense of humor and kindness. Nothing made Len happier than making others smile. Len is survived by his adored wife, Nieves, and their three children, Brian, Daniel, and Nievecita. His love as a brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, and friend will be deeply missed. No celebration of life his been scheduled at this time yet.
