<p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">King – Kathy Lynn Dowell, 63, of King passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Saturday, November 14, 2020.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Ms. Dowell was born on December 2, 1956 in Forsyth County, NC to Daniel Gray Dowell and Sarah Jo McGee Dowell who survive. She was raised by her late stepmother, Faye Dowell. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">In addition to her stepmother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Dowell, and brothers: Danny Dowell and Howard Dowell.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Left to cherish her memory; in addition to her parents; is her daughter, Stephanie King (Joey DeBerry), her son, Ricky King, sisters: Virginia Darlene Jarrell (Michael), June Sedaris, Amber Hege, Diane Tugman (Jim), and Tonya Rominger (Jeff), brothers: Richard Dowell (Mary), and Jimmy Naylor, a special grandson Jordan, and grandchildren: Katie, Jayson, Ricky, Andrew, Elijah, Hailey, and Cierra, and one great grandchild.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Slate Funeral Home.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Slate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
