Roxann D. Jaster Obituary

Roxann D. Jaster age 53, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2020. She was born on February 24, 1967 in Elmhurst, Il to Dale R. Jaster and Annamae Nutt. Roxann graduated from Enger School in Franklin Park, Il. She was very active in Special Olympics and the Veterans Park District Programs and was very proud of all her medals that she won through these wonderful programs. She was an active member of St. John Vianney Church and participated in the Women's Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She was also active in the Special Religious Education Development (SPRED) at St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Roxann is survived by her stepmother, Janet Jaster of Northlake, Il, her brothers, Robert of Henderson, NV, Thomas (Debbie) Jaster of Burke, VA and Samuel (Kim) Jaster of Seabrook, NH. She is also survived by her stepbrothers & stepsisters, Tammy (Tim), Tommy (Tammy), Timmy, Tracy (Michele), and Toni (John). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, also many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will all miss her hugs dearly. Roxann had a contagious smile and loved to give hugs to everybody she knew. She loved sports, especially the Chicago Bears. She loved her Jay Cutler doll. She liked music and learned to play the piano. She loved to sing and had a remarkable memory for knowing the words and artist she heard on the radio. Everyone who met her knew she was genuinely a kind and loving person. Heaven has certainly gained a special angel. We hope to celebrate her life with a memorial mass this coming spring 2021 if possible. *** In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to donate to the Special Olympics or the Veterans Park District in Northlake, IL in her honor ***
