Thomas Albert Richards, 85, of Folkston, GA passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Folkston, GA.  Thomas Albert Richards was born October 13, 1935 in Fernandina Beach FL. to the late Thomas William Richards and Josephine Silva Richards.  He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps.  He was a faithful member of the Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church in Folkston.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife: Gracie Herrin Richards; a daughter: Lori Lloyd Whitehead.

He is survived by his 8-children: Teresa Bailey, Debbie (Doug) Barnes, Barbara (Chuck) Price, Ashley Richards, Tommy (Paula) Lloyd, Bo Richards, April Richards and Tonya Richards; 14 -grandchildren; 16 -great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. 

The family will receive friends Monday, November 16 at Shepard- Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 17 at 11:00 AM at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Folkston with Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Barnes, Chuck Price, Dylan Keene, Shawn Sikes, Alva Morris, Kenneth Bailey and Lawrence Everett. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests at the service will be limited to immediate family and rules of social distancing and face mask will be observed.   The family requests and appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
