Larry Ray Kennedy, 66, of Decatur, passed away at 9:33 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2020, at his home in Decatur. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Face masks are suggested and please practice social distancing for the services. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bethany. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Larry was born August 16, 1954, in Lafayette, IN, the son of William Ray and Junetta (Owens) Kennedy. He married Connie L. Wilson on December 7, 1979 in Elkhart, IN; she survives. Larry was a member of the Northwest Christian Church in Decatur. He was a Regional Manager for NPC International “Pizza Hut” for 40 years. Larry enjoyed competitive and recreational fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends. Larry was a loving husband, father, papa and friend. Larry is survived by his wife, Connie Kennedy of Decatur; son, Jeremy (Rachel) Kennedy of Bethany; daughter, Junette (Kaleb) Randol of Sullivan; brothers, William (Anna) Kennedy of Clarksville, IN, Ronald Kennedy of Lafayette, IN, and Donald (Donna) Kennedy of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, Brylan, Gavin, Kiersten, Kaydence, Brayden, Jazmyn, Konnor and Kayden; great-granddaughter, Briella. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister.
