Conda Williamson

Funeral Services for Conda Williamson, age 77, of Orchard, NE will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill, NE. The service will be live-streamed on the O'Neill Assembly of God Facebook page. Masks are required and social distancing is requested. Burial will follow at the Orchard Hill Cemetery in Orchard, NE. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Conda passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill is in charge of arrangements. Conda Kay Couch was born in Orchard, NE on April 9, 1943 to Ivan and Dorothy Couch. During childhood, Conda attended several elementary schools throughout Nebraska due to Ivan working for the Nebraska Department of Roads. She attended high school in Inman, NE and graduated in 1961. It was during Prom that she caught the eye of Larry Williamson while he was playing in the band. They were married on September 24, 1961 at the United Methodist Church in Inman. From this union, 5 children were born: Jackie, Bill, Gregory, Gary, and Gale. They made their home Northwest of Orchard where they farmed and ranched. Conda spent her life as a homemaker and housewife raising their children. Each summer, Larry and Conda took time off to enjoy the Black Hills. After Larry passed away, Conda found a new pastime of going to casinos. It wasn’t uncommon for Conda to ride a bus and go on ‘the loop’ with a friend. Conda’s happiest days were spent watching her grandchildren grow, especially her great grandchildren. She recently went to her first Husker game, met Gene Watson, vacationed in Oklahoma, and took trips to see family. Conda loved having visitors stop by and always had a cold Pepsi or iced tea waiting. Conda is survived by her children, Jackie (Roger) Klabenes of Clearwater, NE and Bill (Kay) Williamson of Page, NE; grandchildren, Larry Cooper (Sara Anthony) and Tylee Cooper of Crofton, NE, Matt (Tamara) Cooper and Bailey of Paxton, NE, Ben (Katie) Williamson and Gracie, Hattie, and Riggin of Gordon, NE, Mason (Jennifer) Cooper of Tabor, SD, Whitney (Cody) Wright of Paullina, IA, MaKenzie (Dayne) Wilson and Brooks of Weeping Water, NE; nephews, Bruce Couch of Kansas City, MO, Brad (Kelly) Couch of Orchard, NE, and Brian (Sandy) Couch of Elgin, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Conda is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Dorothy (Schaum) Couch; husband, Larry Williamson; her three infant children, Gregory, Gary, and Gale; in-laws, Elmer and Irene Williamson; brother and sister in law, Gene (Lucy) Couch; and infant nephew Brent Couch.
