Lillie Doyle nee Woodring died peacefully at home Nov. 12, 2020 in Cottleville MO 90 years of age. Lil was born the year 1930 in Bardley, MO, to Ray and Jewell Woodring. She married Billy Joe Doyle in 1951, until his death in 1983. To this marriage two children were born, a son, Mark Alan Doyle and daughter, Lea Ann Doyle. Lil was first and foremost a devout mother, wife and ganny. Lil was a pioneer of the “work from home” entrepreneurs. She enjoyed having Lil’s Beauty Shop literally steps away from her family. All of her customers were more than patrons but close friends. Her small shop was always full of small talk and laughter. Lil was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, was a master seamstress and an award-winning cook. Lil never met a stranger; everyone enjoyed her comforting demeanor. She enjoyed being a second mom to her children’s friends. Lil will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Lillie is survived by her son, Mark Alan Doyle and wife, Gerri; her daughter, Lea Ann Doyle; three grandchildren: Kreyton Doyle, Jackson Doyle and Grace Doyle; one great-grandchild, Gatlin Doyle; and one brother, Jack Woodring and wife, Glenda. Lil was proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Doyle; her parents, Ray and Jewell Woodring; and two brother, Bob Woodring and Carl Woodring. An intimate graveside service will be held Nov. 18th 2020.
