Virginia Carter, age 99, of Crossett died at Ashley County Medical Center on Thursday, November 12, 2020.  She was born in Hamburg, AR to Boyett and Kelmie Goodwin on October 19, 1921.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Carter; her son, Robert Carter and her great granddaughter, Morgan Boxer.

She is survived by her son, Connie Carter (Wanda) of Salem, New Jersey and her daughter, Carol Barton (Danny) of Crossett, AR; six grandchildren, Brooke Cusick, Whitney Supernavage, Nolley Rainey, Andy Barton, Liana Robbins, and Jeff Barton; eleven great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives who loved her and enjoyed her antics.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Griffith officiating.   Visitation is from 1:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the service.  Interment is in Carter Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Andy Barton, Jeff Barton, Trey Robbins, Adam Bishop, Lewis Carter and Mike Carter.  Honorary pallbearers are Charles Burt, Benjie Carter, Phil Carter, Dennis Goodwin, Jimmy Goodwin and David Goodwin.
