<p>Nancy Marie McKay, age 96, died Thursday, November 12, 2020 at her residence in Bay Minette. She was born in Perryville, AL to Jessie and Daisy Fain. Mrs. McKay was a charter member of the Stockton First Baptist Church where she gladly served the Lord in different ways and was known for her home cooking. She faithfully attended her church until she was no longer able but continued to support the church through prayer and financial contributions. Mrs. McKay retired from the Baldwin County School System in 1989 after serving many years as Manager of the school cafeteria in Bay Minette.</p> <p>She is survived by her children, Cherrel &ldquo;Cherry&rdquo; McKay Payne of Wetumpka, AL, Curtis Michael &ldquo;Mickey&rdquo; (Thela) McKay of Bay Minette, AL and James Allen McKay of Wetumpka, AL; one grandson, Joel T. (Christina) McKay of Carrollton, GA and two great grandchildren, Connor and Jacob McKay of Carrollton, GA.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her husband, William Curtis McKay and by her son-in-law, Ted Kimbro Payne.</p> <p>Graveside services and burial will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with Reverend Glen Whitfield, Jr. officiating.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stockton First Baptist Church Building Fund, 52700 State Highway 59, Stockton, AL 36579 or to the charity of your choice.</p> <p>Due to health concerns of others, the family requests that you please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.</p>
