Adison Grace Parthemer Obituary

Adison Grace Parthemer, 6, of Harrisburg and Manheim, was called home on Monday, November 9, 2020, at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lancaster, she was the beloved daughter of Andrew Gordon Parthemer and Alicia Dawn Matterness. Adison Grace was in the 1st grade South Side Elementary, Central Dauphin School District where she will be dearly missed by her classmates and close friends who had become family. A true diva, she was a lover of all things glitz, glam, fashion and anything purple. Her favorite accessory? Sunglasses, and you can bet she had a pair for every outfit and never went anywhere without a pair. Adison Grace was known for mastering the “selfie”; and after getting all done up in her many outfits, she would prance back and forth between mirrors, admiring her beauty. She enjoyed coloring, arts & crafts, and anything that involved creativity to let her vibrant personality shine through. Adison Grace would put a smile on anyone’s face. Her dads living room was known to be her “yoga studio” where she would spend countless hours practicing aerobics, fitness and her eccentric dance “moves”. Known to be a “joker” she loved a good prank, and would sneak up on family and friends to give them a good scare, and her, an even bigger laugh. Adison Grace loved to take on her big brother and spend time with her cousins. A selfless little girl, she was a huge animal lover, with an even bigger heart. She rooted for the Steelers any chance she got, cheering as loud as she could! Adison Grace never failed to let her silliness show. She loved to watch fireworks, “boom booms” as she would call them. Adison Grace enjoyed the fall season because the leaves changed colors and was a lover of the moon for as long as she and her parents could remember. Surviving in addition to her parents, is a brother, Austin D. Gregory, of Manheim, paternal grandfather, Kenneth husband of Janet Parthemer, of Etters, paternal grandmother, Debra wife of Martin Paino, of New Cumberland, maternal grandparents, Dennis husband of Dolly Young, of Manheim, three uncles, Bryan Parthemer, of Harrisburg, Adam husband of Lori Werner, of Manheim, Jordan Young fiancé of Stevie Wagner, of Hanover, four step uncles, a step aunt, and six cousins. Preceding her in death is an aunt, Shannon Matterness. There will be a time of visitation and viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Services for Adison Grace will be private. Those desiring can make contributions in Adison Grace’s name to an animal organization of your choice.
