Sandra "Sandy" J. Faivre

Sandra "Sandy" J. Stacho Faivre, 81, of Guys Mills, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at home. Sandy was born in Cleveland, OH, on May 22, 1939, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Marie (Schweter) Stacho. On February 29, 1996, Sandy married Donald Vincent Faivre, he preceded her in death on March 26, 2020. She was a member of New Beginnings Church of God. For 20 years Sandy was a self-employed professional painter and wall paper hanger. She previously had been employed by the former Talon Zipper, National ACME Corp. of Cleveland, OH and a manager for Rubbermaid Party Plan for 12 years. Sandy enjoyed camping, bowling, sailing, cooking and dancing, especially Polkas. Sandy is survived by two sons Gregory Wasko (Paula) of Saegertown, Mark Wasko of Meadville; a daughter Tammy Wasko of Pittsburgh; a stepson Donald Faivre of Linesville; five grandchildren Evan Wasko (Julionna), Gavin Wasko, Courtney McClelland (Zachary), Hope Wasko, Zachary Moletz; one great grandson Dexter Wasko; two sisters Brenda Ann Withers of Cochranton, Jo Ann L. Griffin (Clyde) of Lake Mary, FL; her former husband George Wasko of Saegertown; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Donald, of 24 years, Sandy was preceded in death by three brothers Thomas Stacho, George Stacho, Gary Stacho and her stepfather James Kaster. Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Monday, November 16, 2020, at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM with Pastor Cliff Forbes officiating. Sandy will be laid to rest next to her husband, Donald, in St. Agatha Cemetery.
