Lowell B Tomlinson, wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home on November 9, 2020.  He was born on September 20, 1934 to Clifford and Ivadell Tomlinson of Pleasant Grove.

He attended Pleasant Grove High School graduating in 1952 and then went on to serve an LDS mission in the East Central States Mission.  After returning home from his mission, Lowell enlisted in the United States Navy serving as a Chaplains Assistant aboard the USS Shangri-La aircraft carrier.  After completing his service with the navy, Lowell returned home to Lindon, where he married the love of his life Ronda Marrott.  Together the two had seven wonderful children. 

Lowell worked for Hercules in Magna for 28 years and on apple farms all his life.  He loved his neighbors and was happiest when he was serving others. You could always find Lowell out and about on his 4 wheeler helping neighbors with fruit trees, and just being a friend.  He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint and served in many callings. He always made dear friends with whomever he served. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, a brother, a son, and 2 grandsons, 1 nephew.  He is survived by his wife Ronda, his children Luan (Ron) Cartwright, Cliff (Teri) Tomlinson, Todd (Luette) Tomlinson, Chris (Collette) Tomlinson, Sharlyn (Jon) Devenish, and Jeff (Lacey) Tomlinson, 20 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.  A Sister in law Ila Tomlinson, Nephews Benny Adams, Randy Tomlinson,  Eldon Tomlinson, Gary Tomlinson, Ricky Tomlinson and 1 Niece Suzanne Gregory. 

We appreciate Beverly Dow for her service with his hospice care.
