Telicia Lynn Smedley Obituary

Telicia “Wesha” Lynn Smedley, 36, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 with family at her side.  She was born March 3, 1984 in Mena, Arkansas.

Telicia is survived by her parents, Lyndell and Michelle Smedley of Hatfield, Arkansas; her sister, Tara Grogan and husband John Grogan Jr. of Sherwood, Arkansas; her two nieces, Addison and Mallory Grogan; and the love of her life, Clint Coil of Sherwood, Arkansas.

Telicia graduated from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She became an Aunt in 2007 and it changed her life. Telicia had a passion for taking care of children and loving them from a young age.  She took pride in being the best aunt to Addison and Mallory that she could be.  She had a heart for sharing life with others.  She was very generous and kind and took care of people around her as if they were a part of her own family. Those were some of the qualities that made Telicia want to pursue teaching.  She was a Pre School teacher at Boone Park Elementary in North Little Rock for 12 years.

Telicia was a member of The Church at Willow Beach in North Little Rock. Her relationship with Christ impacted her life and everyone around her.  Everyone knows that Telicia had complete faith that God’s got this.  She never doubted God’s plan for her even in the hardest of times.  She was a light to everyone that she was around, and she would want you to know that God’s got you too!

Visitation will be held from 2:00PM-4:00PM, Sunday, November 15 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, November 16 at Church at Willow Beach with burial following at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
