Howard O. Glidden

West Enfield – Howard O. Glidden, 82, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. He was born November 5, 1938 in Houlton, the son of Dale and Lucille (Drew) Glidden. Howard was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved fishing and riding the woods roads in the area. Howard was a talented woodworker and enjoyed creating wooden crafts. Feeding the birds was a favorite pastime also. His last surviving direct family member is his sister, Ella Astle of Stacyville. Howard will be missed by a special brother in law, Darrell Flanders and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will also be missed by two special feline friends, Deuce and Evie. In addition to his parents, Howard was predeceased by his wife, Pamela (Griffin) Glidden, a sister, Justine Michaud. Per Howard’s request, there will be no services. He and his wife will be interred at the Northern Maine Veteran’s Cemetery in Caribou. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
