<p>Glenn A. Blancett, 72, of Poplar Bluff passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at his residence in Poplar Bluff.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>He was born April 18, 1948 in Paragould, AR, to the late John and Alleen Blancett.&nbsp; On Dec. 14, 1967, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Wilkerson) Blancett.&nbsp; They shared 50 plus years of marriage.&nbsp; Glenn served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.&nbsp; He enjoyed rabbit hunting, demolition derbies, and watching his grandchildren play sports.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his wife and children:&nbsp; Glenn Dale Blancett (Teresa), Laura Keown (Rod), Craig Blancett; his grandchildren: Alex Keown, Elizabeth Blancett, Logan Keown, MacKenzie Keown, Kaitlyn Keown; a sister, Marlene Parton; two brothers, Bill Blancett (Ann), Jerry Blancett (Donna); a sister-in-law, Mildred Blancett; many nieces and nephews.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Virgil, Calvin, Bob, and Johnny Blancett.</p> <p>Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.&nbsp; The funeral service will begin at 2:30 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dennis Ward &nbsp;officiating.&nbsp; Interment to follow in Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk with full military rites.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The funeral home does require the wearing of masks.</strong></p>
