<p>Glenn A. Blancett, 72, of Poplar Bluff passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at his residence in Poplar Bluff. </p> <p>He was born April 18, 1948 in Paragould, AR, to the late John and Alleen Blancett. On Dec. 14, 1967, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Wilkerson) Blancett. They shared 50 plus years of marriage. Glenn served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, demolition derbies, and watching his grandchildren play sports. </p> <p>He is survived by his wife and children: Glenn Dale Blancett (Teresa), Laura Keown (Rod), Craig Blancett; his grandchildren: Alex Keown, Elizabeth Blancett, Logan Keown, MacKenzie Keown, Kaitlyn Keown; a sister, Marlene Parton; two brothers, Bill Blancett (Ann), Jerry Blancett (Donna); a sister-in-law, Mildred Blancett; many nieces and nephews. </p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Virgil, Calvin, Bob, and Johnny Blancett.</p> <p>Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dennis Ward officiating. Interment to follow in Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk with full military rites. </p> <p><strong>The funeral home does require the wearing of masks.</strong></p>Obituary
