Mary Diaz Rodriguez

Mary D. Rodriguez also known as “Lulu” to many of us was a devoted, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Mary passed away and entered eternal life on November 6, 2020 surrounded with loved ones by her side at the tender age of 79. Mary was born October 25, 1941 in Martindale, Texas to her parents Hilario and Carmen Diaz, she later relocated to Eloy, Arizona where she was raised and lived the rest of her life. She was married to the love of her life Ignacio E. Rodriguez for 32 wonderful years. Mary was a devoted Christian woman. If you ever needed to find her, she would be in the house of the Lord where she worshipped and praised her God, or in front of her tv enjoying a sermon, or reading her bible as often she did. She loved shopping and was always up to date with the latest trend, she enjoyed sewing among other things. Mary expressed her love by cooking traditional dishes for her loved ones regularly. Mary always had a hearty welcome, big and warm enough to encompass everyone who entered her home. Mary is survived by one brother and four sisters. Children, Yolanda Beltran, Rosemary Glaser, Rosalinda Ibarra, Irma Ibarra, Nancy Crouch, Jose J. Lopez, Jr., Javier S. Lopez, Frances Macias, Fernando Lopez, 61 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Hilario and Carmen Diaz, husband Ignacio E. Rodriguez, brother Miguel Diaz, sisters; Diana Burciaga, Nellie Leos, grandson Eric M. Gonzales, and son in law Ruben Beltran. All whom she loved dearly and touched deeply. Mary’s children and family will continue to honor her legacy of love. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, November 13th, 2020 from 12-2pm at the Fountains of Living Water Church located at 518 E. Second Street, Casa Grande, AZ. Due to Covid masks are required. Burial to follow at Eloy Cemetery. Heritage Casa Grande funeral home entrusted with the arrangements.
