Edith Morris Obituary

Edith Margaret Morris

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Morris of Charlo which occurred at her residence November 3rd, 2020 at the age of 87. Born in Charlo, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Cyr) Arseneau.

Edith is survived by her sister in law Gabrielle Arseneau, nephews; Greg Boudreau (Donna) of Manitoba, Yvon Arsenault (Mavis) of PEI, Michel Arseneau (Veronica) of Charlo, Marc Arseneau (Sylvie) of Charlo, niece Manon Arseneau Laevski (Alex) of Campbellton, along with grand nieces Marika, Chanelle and Katarina, grand nephew Danik Arseneau along with many other nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Hugh (1998).

Amongst her many passions, Ballroom dancing was her favorite. She received her teachers’ certificate in the 1970’s and taught many hundreds over her 50-year career. She enjoyed volunteering her time for many organisations, such as The Hospital board, sitting as councillor for the village of Charlo. Edith spent over 20 years serving the Charlo Golden Age Club. Finally, but not least she was enthusiastic about entertaining her many friends over a beautiful meal, game of cards and dancing. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Due to Covid restrictions her funeral will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flower, donations to Charlo Golden Age Club would be welcomed.Funeral arrangements are in the care of Macmillan Funeral home.
