Henry E. Hartmann Stewartsville, NJ Henry Hartmann, 80, of Stewartsville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at his residence. Born in Newark, NJ, Henry resided in Branchburg, NJ before moving to Stewartsville 19 years ago. Henry worked as a driver for DHL for 23 years before his retirement in 2008. Henry was a proud member of the Brotherhood of Teamsters Union local #295 in Jamaica Queens, NY. He was an avid Giants and Yankees fan. At a young age, Henry owned, trained, and drove his own harness horses, his colors were orange and blue, and he was an avid harness racing fan. Henry enjoyed traveling, especially taking trips to Lake George, and Diamond beach with his family. Hank was a kind, loving man. He loved to laugh, but was not ashamed to cry. He was a proud man who loved his family with all his heart. Henry is preceded in death by his beloved parents Edwin and Mary Hartmann (Bevilacqua). Surviving are his loving wife Angela Scarnegi Hartmann, one dear son Raymond Hartmann of Waretown, NJ; three loving daughters, Gina and husband Anthony La Polla of Bridgewater, NJ; Lisa Marie and husband Scott Wilson of Washington, NJ; Ann and husband Norman Smith of Forked River, NJ; two sisters Carolyn and husband Alfred Testa of Boca Raton, FL; Lucille DeDeo of Ocean, NJ; four cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, Justin, and Tyler and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 2-6pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Route 202 South Branchburg, NJ. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 9:15am. A funeral mass will follow on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10am at St Bernard’s Church in Bridgewater, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in Henry’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
