He was born June 28, 1943 to Helen Areather Lambert-Chisholm and Ralph Earl Chisholm, Sr. in Topeka, KS. </p><p><br></p><p>He attended Topeka Public Schools, graduating from Topeka High School in 1961. </p><p><br></p><p>Ralph was employed in different capacities as a youth; however, after graduating from high school he settled into employment and his craft as an Optical Lab Technician for Dr. William Carriger’s optometrist office until 1983. Ralph then began employment with Hawkins Optical Laboratories in August of the year 1984 where he remained a dedicated well-liked employee with the company as it took on new ownership until his retirement in October 2019. It is now known as the Duffens Optical/Essilor Company.</p><p><br></p><p>Ralph accepted Christ at an early age and he was ordained as a pastor on October 18, 1998. Ralph was one of the founding members of Fellowship of Faith Church. He was very proud of his church, holding the office of deacon and trustee. On January 24,1999 Ralph was licensed and then installed as the Pastor of Fellowship of Faith Church. In 2010 Ralph begin to Co-Pastor at Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church where he was dedicated to his church family and served as a valued well-known member throughout the Topeka, KS community. </p><p><br></p><p>Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Ralph Chisholm, Sr. and his brother, James Watson. </p><p><br></p><p>He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Hermine Daniels; nephew, Vincent Chisholm; niece, Germean Chisholm; great nieces, RaeVyn Chisholm and Kiara Chisholm; great nephew, Justin Chisholm; step-daughters, Brittany Pusch-Zuniga and Tiffani Sampson and the woman he cherished until his death, Cherlion Chisholm.</p>
