<p>Kermit Gene Carriker, 79, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his home in Albemarle.</p> <p>Gene Carriker was born October 26, 1941 in Stanly County to the late William Claude Carriker and the late Myrintha Myrtle Carriker.</p> <p>The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, November 9, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 522 North Second Street, Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 22182 Canton Road, Albemarle and will be officiated by Rev. Mitchell Cook.
