Patricia (Pat) Schueler, age 75, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday morning November 3, 2020 from complications due to brain cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 25, 1945 to Permelia and John Klein and raised by her sister and husband Doris and Harry Bauer. She was a graduate of Old Bridge High School class of ‘64. She married Conrad “Butch” Schueler in Old Bridge, NJ in 1965 and enjoyed 38 years of marriage. Pat raised her children while staying home, then worked for 25 years at the Howell Board of Education as Secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Personnel. She was well known for being extremely friendly, outgoing, and having a great smile! Always willing to lend a hand, she made the best out of every situation. She loved family, friends and SINGING! She is famous for singing “Moon River” at her own wedding. She remained involved by singing in her church choir, a travelling NJ Women's singing group, and most recently the Four Seasons Chorale in Manasquan, where she loved to perform solos in the Christmas concert and served as their Librarian. Pat greatly enjoyed her last 8 years being an active member of the vibrant Four Seasons Manasquan community. She served as chairperson of the Women’s Club Scholarship committee going on to become Co-Secretary of the club. She liked to cruise with friends, spend time with her granddaughters and LOVED her Mahjong groups. She enjoyed the NJ Shore her entire life, including many weekends at Island Beach State Park camping and fishing while raising her family. She was known to drive to the inlet just to park, look at the ocean and smell the salt air. She is survived by her sister Gerri (Klein) Giampaolo of Eufala, AL, her daughters Christine Schueler of Bound Brook, NJ and Patty (Schueler) Vollmar of Basking Ridge, NJ, Patty’s husband Pete Vollmar and daughters Sydney and Katrina Vollmar. She also has many nearby relatives, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her. Pat's family would like to invite you to share a favorite memory of Pat on her Tribute Wall.
