Paulette Frueh Obituary

Paulette Frueh, 64, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, N.D.

Paulette Feickert was born on August 21, 1956 to Armin and Barbara (Selzler) Feickert and raised in Anamoose, N.D.  She graduated from Anamoose High School in 1974 and worked at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey for several years, also working for the Harvey Herald Newspaper, and helping with her siblings at home.

On October 15, 1982, she married Keith Frueh in Harvey.  They moved to Rugby, N.D. where she was employed as a cook in the school system, after which they moved to Fargo where she worked for Valley Bus Company as a bus aide and later a licensed bus driver for 26 years.  Currently she was employed as a secondary cook at Discovery Middle School, Fargo Public Schools.

Paulette’s interests included attending car shows, knitting, restoring cars along with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, reading, learning about American history, and exploring her genealogy.  She was extremely talented at photography, drawing, and artistic design on her computer.

She was a fan of the Bison and the Minnesota Vikings, she loved Dr. Pepper, and was active in the N.D. and MN Street Rod Associations.  Paulette was passionate about working with special needs children and volunteering for the North Dakota Special Olypmics.

Paulette is survived by her husband Keith, West Fargo; a daughter, Jennifer (Al) Alford, Lovettsville, VA; a son, Tyler (Tess) Frueh, West Fargo; grandchildren, Jalen, Regan, & Makenna Alford, and Rory Frueh; siblings, Jackie (Melvin) Fetzer, West Fargo, Doreen (Jerry) Morrow, Roseburg, OR, Darrell (Lise) Feickert, St. Michael, MN, Curt (Chris) Feickert, West Fargo, Doug (Chris) Feickert, Savage, MN; and her mother-in-law, Florence Frueh, Bismarck, N.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her father-in-law, Ernest Frueh.

Visitation: Monday, November 16, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Memorial Service: Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Burial: Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND at a later date.
