Daryl Jordan, 69, Rugby, North Dakota went to spend eternity on the big farm in the sky on Friday, November 6, 2020. Daryl was born on January 16, 1951 in Rugby, North Dakota to Henry Jr. and Mona (Svuem) Jordan. Daryl was raised on the family farm. He graduated from Rugby High School in 1969 and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served his country from 1969-1971 and was stationed in Germany. Following his discharge, he returned to Rugby and rekindled his love of farming. He also was employed at three different lumber yards as well as Rugby Livestock for 23 years. He continued to farm and ranch throughout his adulthood with the love of his life Robyn Stigen. These two young love birds were untied in marriage on September 9, 2000. Daryl also brought to this family two daughters and Robyn one son. Daryl was a member of the American Legion, Rugby Eagles and North Dakota Stockman’s Association. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling and making memories with his family. Daryl is survived by wife of Rugby; children, Stacy (Chad) Duchscher of Rugby, Jamie Jordan of Houston, Texas and Brian Jordan of Linton; grandchildren, Ravi, Jaya, Maya, Gracie, Jr., Kain, Kashdyn and Kruz; brothers, Terry Jordan of Wisconsin and Jay Jordan of Rugby; sisters-in-law, Raye (Mark) Johnson of Overly and Roberta Stigen of Fargo; brother-in-law, Bert (Kelly) Stigen of Towner; parents-in-law, Rick and Rita Stigen; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Daryl is preceded in death by a brother, Larry Jordan; nephew, Kenny Jordan and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at First Lutheran Church in Rugby with burial in the Persilla Watts Cemetery, Rugby with military honors accorded by the Clarence Larson American Legion Post #23 Honor and Color Guard and the North Dakota Military Honors Funeral Detail. Pastor Sharon Baker, officiating. Following the burial, there will be lunch served by the family at the Rugby Eagles. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Friday. Casket Bearers: Kenny Schmaltz, Kevin Heilman, Bert Stigen, Jim Duchscher, Terry Jordan and Terry Ellingson
