<p>HAVERHILL - Francis &ldquo;Frank&rdquo; Xavier Buckley, 74, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. The world has lost an incredible and a one-of-a-kind father, husband, son, brother and friend.</p> <p>Frank was born on November 7, 1945, in Somerville, Massachusetts, son of the late Anne Buckley and Thomas Buckley. Born the seventh of 14 children, Frank grew up the jokester of the family, and continued putting smiles on faces throughout his 74 years, thanks in large part to his infectious optimism.</p> <p>At age 17, Frank met the love of his life Nancy (Anderson) Buckley, who he leaves along with his daughter Angel (Buckley) Morse, son-in-law Eli Morse, grandchildren Will and Maggie Morse, daughter Shannon Buckley, son Michael Buckley, daughter-in-law Renee Buckley and grandchildren Mira and Michael Buckley.</p> <p>Frank&rsquo;s greatest pride was his children and grandchildren, and he made sure everyone knew it. From wearing t-shirts printed with their photos, to getting each of his grandchildren&rsquo;s names tattooed on his arm, Frank reveled in his role as &ldquo;Pappy.&rdquo;</p> <p>Frank brought his love for life to everything he did. In addition to working as shipping foreman manager at Hudson Machinery for more than 40 years, he was also president of Presidential Gardens for 26 years, where he lived. At Presidential, Frank worked tirelessly to improve the community and its facilities, and the mark of his efforts can be seen across the neighborhood. Frank also spent countless hours volunteering across the city of Haverhill, where he was involved with such groups as the Haverhill High School Boosters, Community Action, Sacred Heart School and many more. More than anything, Frank is remembered for his positivity, kindness and deep desire to help others.</p> <p>A lifelong sports fan, Frank loved hockey, and enjoyed one of his proudest moments when he watched his son raise the Stanley Cup during back-to-back wins as a coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins.</p> <p>In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Frank is survived by sisters June, Ann, Mary, Linda and Kathleen, and brothers Alfred, Ronald, Patrick, Thomas, Robert, George, David and Stephen, as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.</p> <p>Due to COVID restrictions, services for Frank will be private and for family only.
