<p>Julia Sagevich, 100 of Keansburg, passed away Friday November 6, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital of Holmdel.</p> <p>She was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph Sagevich and Margaret (Pojakenis) Sagevich.</p> <p>She was a trailblazer for her generation obtaining a Masters Degree and was a longtime Librarian working for the Great Neck School System of Great Neck, New York, retiring in 1975.</p> <p>She was very intelligent, a well-versed world traveler going to Europe, Asia and Africa during her summer breaks from the school season.</p> <p><br /> Julia was always very generous with all of her nieces and nephews, all of whom remember her fondly.</p> <p>She was also a very devoted Catholic and devoted to Holy Redeemer Church of Old Brige.</p> <p>She is predeceased by her siblings Alice Hubbs, Florence Becker and Indra Khanna.</p> <p>She leaves behind several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews Margaret Becker of Staten Island, William, Keith, Timothy, Brian, Kathleen and Matthew Becker and Neelam Khanna; great nieces and nephews Sean, James, Kyle, Allison, Claire, Brian William, Bianca, Alexandra, Zachary, Charles, David,&nbsp; Isabella and Augustine Becker and Gregory and Amy Puleo.</p> <p>A Visitation will be held on Monday November 9, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Church of Old Bridge at 12PM .</p> <p>Entombment will follow at St. Joseph&#39;s Cemetery of Keyport.</p> <p>To send flowers or send condolences, please do so here at our web site.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
