Bertha Keeley, 95, of Pocahontas, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Bertha was born December 30, 1924 in Memphis, TN to Ruben and Mary Bessie Davis Cornelius. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Cornilious; husband, Paul Oetjen; son, Don Logsdon; daughter, Pat Spears; and grandson, Randy Book. Bertha is survived by son, David Richard Logsdon of Maynard; and daughters, Pamela Elaine Murphy of Paducah, KY and Brenda Louise Logsdon of Maynard; grandchildren, Robert Nemo, Tammy Guy, Hailie Wescott, Michael Book, Doug, Niki, and Stephine Hackler, Mandi Hanson, Shannon Beard, Reuben Logsdon, Billy Hufstedler, and Paul Logsdon; numerous great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Ann Newman and Delore Roth. Graveside services will be Monday, November 9, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. at Maynard Cemetery with Clyde Hackworth officiating. “Eat all you want but if you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault!” We love you Grandma. Now go in peace. You will forever be missed and loved. To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
