Obituary

Natalie Ashlyn Elizabeth Small

Oct 18 2013 – Nov 3 2020

Our Precious little Princess Natalie went to dance with the angels peacefully and without any pain after a very long courageous battle with cancer on November 3rd 2020.

Natalie was born on October 18th 2013 in the City of Fort St John to the parents of Chris and Deanne Small. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her stepfather Trent, older siblings Emma, Hayley, Shyanne, Jace and younger siblings Hayley, Makayla and numerous grandparents, aunts/uncles, and cousins.

Natalie touched many hearts in her short time with us and was well known for her princess etiquette, sassy personality, and her loving caring heart for everyone around her. Her favourite things were her black lab Chase, dance and tea parties, singing competitions, makeup, and playing with her 6 siblings.

We think of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought of you yesterday and the day before that too. We think of you in silence and often speak your name. All we have are our memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake with which we will never part. God and the ones that went before, have you in their keeping. We have you in our hearts.

RIP OUR LITTLE PRINCESS UNTIL WE SEE YOU AGAIN

The family would like to thank the following for their incredible love, care and support provided to Natalie: BC Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, The Community of Fort St John and a special thanks to Dr. Wright and his staff for their care, to allow Natalie to be home with us.

The family invites you to join them for a celebration of life on Sunday, November 15th at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. Please stop by any time between 10:00am - 3:00pm.
