It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Ruth Violet (Saunders) Norman announces her passing. Ruth passed away at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020, following a courageous battle with cancer. Ruth was 64 years of age. Ruth is predeceased by her parents - Charles & Miriam Saunders; parents-in-law - Willis & Emily Norman; brothers - Cecil and Allen; sister - Gertie and brothers-in-law - Ford, Newton and Glyn. Left with many fond and loving memories is her husband - Graham; son - Merle and granddaughter - Julia; son - Marty (Jennifer) and granddaughter - Olivia and special grandson - Carter; brothers - Edward & Harvey; sisters - Ivy, Alvina, Cora, Vera, Classie and Maxine as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Public Visitation took place at Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL, on Thursday, November 5th, 2020 from 7:00-9:00PM, following specific guidelines related to the global pandemic and associated restrictions. Pastor Keith Simms conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL on Friday, November 6th, 2020. Interment followed at Harvest Time Pentecostal Cemetery, Pacquet, NL. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
