Thomas G. Shutt, 68, of Howard, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 1, 2020.

He was born in Bellefonte on Aug. 3, 1952, a son of the late Randolph and Lorena Rider Shutt. Tom worked in construction and at Penn State where he retired after 25 years of service.

He loved to hunt and fish and his cats. His greatest joy was his time spent with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He leaves behind his loving wife, Anna Smith Shutt at their home, son Thomas ( Alicia ) Smith of Howard, two daughters, Tammy ( Tom ) Murphy of North Carolina and Tonya Smith of Bellefonte, his six grandchildren, Trae and Tevlen Murphy, Tavia Malacane, Mykala, Ashlyn, and Breanna Smith, a sister, Susan ( Scot ) Showers of Bellefonte, three brothers, Michael ( Kelli ) Shutt and William ( Jo ) Shutt all of Bellefonte, and Richard ( Suzie ) Shutt of Port Matilda. He was preceded by brothers Randy and Robert Shutt.
