Mary Kelton Blume, (90) of Bethel Park, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Born April 16, 1930, In Madison County Texas.  She was the daughter of the late, Frank R. Kelton and Euna (Morgan) Kelton. Beloved wife of the late Ivan S. Blume for 47 years. (1954-2001) Loving Mother of:  Eric K. Blume, (wife Jeanie); Nancy B. Lightfoot, (husband Jay); Jane Blume, (husband Wade Shumaker); Craig S. Blume, (wife Kathy); Grant S. Blume, (wife Karen).  Sister of Paula K. Byrd, (husband Larry), sister of the late Curtis C. Kelton, Sr., (wife the late Carolyn), Grandmother of:  Alec, Jeffrey, (wife Jessica), Jewel, Kelton, Madison, Morgan, Roland, Ethan, Maddie, and Joshua. Mary studied art at Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. She worked as a commercial fashion artist at Neiman Marcus (previously, Ben Wolfman's) in Houston, Texas.  She designed display windows, advertisements, and modeled new hair styles and designer dresses for the Houston Chronicle. Creativity was a constant throughout her life; she could needlepoint, knit, crochet, and sew, making anything from prom dresses to potholders. She created beautiful quilts and baby items.  Calligraphy was a talent she used in creating fliers, posters, and cards.  She discovered a passion for painting in watercolors. She connected to artists, workshops, and classes through memberships at the School House Art Center and the McMurray Art League.  She was an accomplished watercolorist. Mary started volunteering at St Clair Hospital, the day her youngest son started kindergarten. She loved working in the gift shop, making friends, and managing product lines.  She used her artistic skills to make display windows for the shop, posters and fliers for events like the Harlequin Ball, and bulletin boards for milestones in the hospital’s history. She represented the Auxiliary as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Clair Hospital, and was a past president of the auxiliary and a volunteer for over 40 years. Mary carried a peace within. She was a woman of Christian faith, attending services at Christ United Methodist Church. She believed in giving and doing for others. She was a woman that loved. Loving her family more than life itself.  She will be missed.
