It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen on November 1st, 2020 at Trillium Lodge in Parksville, British Columbia.

Doreen is predeceased by her parents Doris and Lew Mabbott, husband Martin Henry Miller and Son Thomas Andrew.

She is survived by her son Daniel (Therese) of Qualicum Beach, and grandchildren Jason, Adam, Tracey, Brian, Todd, Bobby, Ann Maire and AJ, as well as 8 great-grandchildren and nephew Glenn Piper.  Doreen will be greatly missed by her friend’s at St Stephen’s Unite Church. 

Doreen loved her many pets and her gardens.  She was a member of First United Church in Victoria and St. Stephens after moving to Qualicum in 1986.  Doreen enjoyed her time serving as secretary at St. Stephens for many years.  The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Trillium Lodge for their years of care.

Following Doreen’s wishes, there will be no service held.  Her ashes will be spread at home with her much loved pets.
