Vernon M. Lee

<p>Elder Vernon Lee, age 88, of Malvern, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock.&nbsp; He was born September 26, 1932 to the late Arthur Miles Lee and Daisy Huneycutt Lee in Manchester near Arkadelphia.&nbsp; He is also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nell Morrison Lee; two sons, Monte and Phillip Lee; and grandson, Brian.</p> <p>Vernon served his country for 13 years in the Air Force.&nbsp; He served from 1950 to 1962, which included time in the Korean War.&nbsp; In 1968 he became an Ordained Minister for the Primitive Baptist Church.&nbsp; Vernon retired from OBU after 25 years.&nbsp; He preached in multiple states and was a lifelong servant of the Lord.</p> <p>Vernon is survived by three daughters: Vickie Boyett (Gary) of Malvern, Dodie Jenkins (Ricky) of Evans, GA, and Cindy Hughes (Ronnie) of Saginaw; two sisters, Greta Davis, Jayne Harvey (Dick) all of Arkadelphia; 17 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.</p> <p>Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 7th at Macedonia Cemetery near Dalark. Obituary

Elder Vernon Lee, age 88, of Malvern, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born September 26, 1932 to the late Arthur Miles Lee and Daisy Huneycutt Lee in Manchester near Arkadelphia.  He is also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nell Morrison Lee; two sons, Monte and Phillip Lee; and grandson, Brian.
