Benjamin Wheeler, age 32, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and loved ones on November 1, 2020 at 4:20 p.m. He was a member of the Belen Seventh Day Adventist Church. Ben was brave, strong, determined and courageous; a true nobleman. He had a very strong faith and love for God and Family. His children, Janie and Benjamin, were his pride and joy and inspiration. Ben was a truly gifted horseman, leather craftsman, and musician among other things. Ben would brighten a room with his beautiful smile and contagious laughter. He was an amazing father, son, grandson, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed. A heartfelt thanks to all our dear family and friends, who offered endless prayers and support for Ben and our family during his cancer journey. We love you all very much. Thank you to Sarcoma doctors and staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center Houston, Texas, Lazarex Cancer Foundation and Ambercare Hospice. Ben is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gregorio and Della Arana and Janie E. Wheeler. He is survived by his loving children, Janie and Benjamin Wheeler; mother, Debbie Wheeler; father, Gary Wheeler; brother, Troy Bennett; sister, Aubrey Burson and husband, Toby. Due to Covid-19 and the safety of our family and friends, the memorial service and interment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Los Lunas Chapel, 2211-D Main St., (505) 866-9992.
