Deanna "Robbins" Cook

<p><strong>Deanna &ldquo;Robbins&rdquo; Cook</strong>, 53, passed away at her home in Charlestown on Friday, October 30, 2020. She was born on July 20, 1967 to Ernest &ldquo;Leon&rdquo; and Beverly Robbins (Bressler) in Jeffersonville, Indiana.&nbsp; Deanna earned her computer programming degree from Ivy Tech and worked in the flooring industry throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father Ernest &ldquo;Leon&rdquo; Robbins and by her brother, Michael Robbins.</p> <p>Survivors include her mother, Beverly Robbins of Sellersburg, her son, Daniel Thompson of New Albany and her longtime companion, Jason Gay of Charlestown.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.</p>
