Obituary
Pauline “Polly” E. Willett, 94, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, at a Presque Isle long term care facility. She was born August 31, 1926, in Littleton, the daughter of Ferd and Hazel (Moorehouse) McIntyre. Pauline's family moved to Presque Isle when she was young where she attended local schools. She married Paul Joseph Willett on August 31, 1946 and they would share seventeen years together until his passing in 1963. Pauline then single-handedly raised their eight children and worked full time. She worked at Shellock Bag Company, clerked at Sampson's Supermarket and Graves Shop N Save. Her last job was at M.P.G. Texaco where she retired at the age of seventy seven. She was a member of the “Busy Bees” bowling team, and she enjoyed camping at St. Froid Lake with her family. Pauline also enjoyed traveling and had even went to Germany to visit a grandson who was stationed there. Pauline's greatest joy in life was her large family and she treasured every moment spent with them. She is survived by her eight children: Patricia “Bunny” Estabrook and her husband Daniel of Presque Isle, Pamela Carrier and her husband Vincent of Presque Isle, Paul Willett Jr. and his wife Sue of Presque Isle, Paula Chapman of Othello, WA, Peggy Bushey of Mapleton, Priscilla LaPointe and her husband Tylor of Presque Isle, Patrick Willett and his wife Sandra of Presque Isle, Penny Greene and her husband LaVerne of Presque Isle, as well as several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters: Thelma Parks of Presque Isle, Charlotte Lowe of Florida, a brother Reggie McIntyre and his wife Sally of Presque Isle, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Paul Joseph Willett Sr., five siblings: Marilyn, Harold, Blanche, Albert, Marie, a granddaughter Jessica Cyr, and a grandson D.J. Murphy. Due to COVID Restrictions the funeral service will be private for the immediate family only. The committal service will be conducted at 2:15 PM, Monday November 2, 2020 at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle and is open to the public.
