Mona Eloise Martin Wortham 61, of Ardmore, AL died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama. Born Thursday, May 14, 1959 in Athens, AL, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Leon Martin and Lois Geneva Bland Martin. She was a loving mother, sister, nanna and hard worker. She loved gardening, flowers, shopping and decorating. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell Wortham; Brothers, Jack Martin, Jim Martin, Dan Martin; Sister, Millie Aycock, Niece, Melissa Aycock. She is survived by her daughter, Brandy (Johnny) Lawrence, Elkmont, AL; 2 grandchildren, Anna and Luke Lawrence; Brother, Randy (Rhenda) Martin, Ardmore, AL; Sisters, Suzanne (Kenneth) Maddox, Ardmore, AL, Frieda (Dale) Edwards, Ardmore, AL; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL. Due to the Covid-19 and the statewide manidate, Masks will be required and must be worn at all times when entering the building and while in our facility, also everyone must practice 6 ft. social distancing and washing hands while in our facility.
