Cheryl A. (Farris) Porter, 69 of California, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born October 14, 1951 in Eldon, Missouri the daughter of the late Thomas Vernon and Fern Mae (Pace) Farris.  On December 4, 1971 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Gary Porter who survives of the home.

Daughters, Jennifer Porter (Herb Russell) of California, MO; Angela (Porter) McKee (Shawn) of Centertown, MO

 

Three Grandchildren, Skylar Michael, Seth Michael & Cody Schnieders

 

One Great Grandson, Aydan Miller

 

Brother, Steve Farris (Gail) of St. Louis, MO

 

Sister, Becky Nilges of Eldon, MO

 

Many much loved Brothers & Sisters-in-law, and Nieces & Nephews

 

Cheryl was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO and High Point Baptist Church of High Point, MO.  She was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for over forty years until her retirement.  Included in her family was her much loved puppy Charlie.

 

Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2020 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Private Family Interment will be held at High Point Cemetery at a later date. 

 

Memorials in her name are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO or the High Point Baptist Church of High Point, MO.
