To know Jimmy was to love him and receive that love back.  He was the kind of man that one strives to be. He had a contagious humor and would brighten up your day with a sarcastically witty comment.

Jimmy  is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Eva Hernandez; his children, Barbara Hernandez; Anselmo “Chemo” Hernandez, spouse Anna; Jimmy Hernandez Jr.; Rosemary Molina; Peggy Lara; Linda Cano, spouse Robert Cano; Margarita Hernandez ; Blanca Bencomo, spouse Ruben; and Alicia Ramirez, spouse Frank Ramirez.  Jimmy also raised Bernadina Hernandez, spouse Chris Zamora; Eilaina Castanon, spouse Danny Laboy;  and Miguel Hernandez.  He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grand children and great-great grandchildren. He also survived by his siblings Mariana Gonzalez; Roberta Sepulveda; Arturo Acosta; his brother-in-law Danny Vasquez, spouse Frances, Minni Vasquez; and Mary Vasquez.
