Carole Lee Rawlins, 87 of Joplin, Missouri passed from this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her home with family and friends at her side. Carole was born June 28, 1933 in Peoria, OK. After high school Carole worked as a bookkeeper for many different employers around the area. Carole was united in marriage to Herbert O. Rawlins on October 15, 1994 in Joplin, MO. They had just celebrated their 26th anniversary. Carole was a 63year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Carole is survived by her husband Herbert O. Rawlins of the home; step children, Dennis Shockley and wife Janet; sisters, Linda Boyle, Ruth Blevins, and Mary Clark; step grandson, Mark Shockley. Carole was preceded in death by 3 brothers. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude for the loving care provide by Home Instead and Avalon Hospice during this difficult time. Carole has been entrusted to Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel for cremation. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
