Sylvia Marie Piper, age 85 passed away October 24, 2020 due to natural causes. She was born May 10, 1935 in Carlsborg Washington to Carl and Inez Bigler. Sylvia married her sweetheart Thomas W. Piper, on July 20, 1962, in Idaho Falls, Idaho at the LDS Temple; there they were sealed for time and all eternity. Sylvia was a dedicated homemaker and a loving, devoted mother. She had a passion for reading and loved her artwork. Sylvia was incredibly thrifty and could organize anything. She was inspired by the natural beauty all around her, Sylvia's granddaughters remember going for walks with her when they were young, she would find beauty in the most simple things and would stop to admire and enjoy flowers, leaves, birds flying and clouds. She really enjoyed the little things. Those who knew Sylvia often described her as having a sweet spirit and pure heart. Sylvia had the most beautiful smile, and was loved by all that knew her. Sylvia is survived by her husband Thomas W. Piper, adopted son Clayne R. Piper and adopted daughter Jeanna C. Smith numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and brother Ralph Bigler. No funeral services will be held as it was Sylvia’s wish. There will be a memorial in the spring of 2021, to honor Sylvia. Arrangements under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home.
