<p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Rosemary (Charas) Rynn, of Crafton, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in the comfort of her home.&nbsp; Cherished daughter of the late Mary and Adam Charas; beloved wife of&nbsp; Joseph C. Rynn, Jr.&nbsp; Loving mother of Michael A. (Amy) Rynn, Maura E. (Jason) Rhodes, Kathleen R. (Colin) Temme, and Joseph B. (Erin) Rynn.&nbsp; Adoring grandmother of Connor, Anna, and Caroline Rynn; Leo and Tucker Rhodes; Eamon, Joseph, and Theodore Temme; and Arlo and Fiona Rynn.&nbsp; Rosemary was a graduate of St. Thomas High School as well as Duquesne University.&nbsp; She began her career as an elementary school teacher for Duquesne City School District.&nbsp; After raising her family, Rosemary&nbsp;returned to teaching as a substitute teacher for Carlynton School District.&nbsp; She then served as an administrative assistant at Duquesne University School of Education, Department of Foundations and Leadership.&nbsp; Rosemary&#39;s legacy includes her devotion to her loving family, service to others, and her faith.&nbsp; She loved trips to the beach, reading, singing, and the company of her family and friends.&nbsp; Rosemary was an active member of St. Philip Parish, including the church choir, Eucharistic Ministry, and Legion of Mary.&nbsp; Friends will be received at the Shepner-McDermott Funeral Home, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton, PA 15205 on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 10 AM at Ascension Roman Catholic Church, 114 Berry St., Pittsburgh, 15205.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Chartiers Cemetery.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Rosemary&#39;s name be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center; hillmanresearch.upmc.edu/giving for Glioblastoma Research, or the St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Philip Parish, 114 Berry St., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">The Schepner-McDermott Funeral Home, Inc., Crafton is honored to serve Rosemary&#39;s family at this time.</span></span></p>
