Dana Blair “Beav” Johanneson, 66, of Enderlin, North Dakota died on October 28, 2020, under the care of ospice of the Red River Valley, with his loving wife, Debby by his side. Dana was born on October 4, 1954, to Richard and Ruby (Bunn) Johanneson in Lisbon, ND. He was raised and educated in Enderlin, ND. He graduated Enderlin High School in 1972 and attended Valley City State University for a short time and worked at a couple of jobs before beginning his career with CP Rail. He retired in November, 2011 due to his health.

Dana and Debby Ortiz met in spring of 1996, and they were united married on April 30, 2009, in Lisbon, North Dakota.

He loved fishing, hunting and hanging out with his buddies, enjoying a good beer.

Dana is survived by his wife, Debby, mother, Ruby of Enderlin, his siblings, Lance Johanneson of Fargo, ND, Bonnie (Maurice) Moody, of Cheyenne, WY, Brett (Shari) Johanneson of Lisbon, ND, Blaine (Nancy) Johanneson of Mandan, ND, Derek Johanneson, of Enderlin, three nieces, Darcy, Lacey and Nicole, and three nephews, Michael, DJ and Shawn.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard.

Celebration of Dana’s life will be held in Spring 2021.
