<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Shelley R. Town of Niles passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. in her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 51 years old.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Shelley was born in Warren on July 17, 1969, the daughter of Darrell L. and Connie Oliver Gantz.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>She was a 1987 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. Following high school Shelley further her education at Trumbull Business College.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Ms. Town began her career as the Howland Townships first female firefighter. She then had the opportunity to serve as a dispatcher for Warren City and then as a dispatcher for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. She had a passion for her profession and loved and cherished the people she worked with. Her career meant the world to her.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Shelley was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks and was the first female Exalted Ruler in the State of Ohio. &nbsp;In her spare time, Shelley was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Indians fan.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>She is survived by her mother, Connie Dobransky and her significant other Larry Hixenbaugh of Hartford, OH; her father, Darrell L. Shelley R. Town of Niles passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. in her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 51 years old.

Shelley was born in Warren on July 17, 1969, the daughter of Darrell L. and Connie Oliver Gantz.

She was a 1987 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. Following high school Shelley further her education at Trumbull Business College.
