Michael See, 61, of Conrad, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo. Visitation for Mike will be on Monday, November 2, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, followed by a graveside service at the Conrad Cemetery. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Mike and his family. Michael See was born on February 3, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa to Harvey and Helen Mabbitt See. Mike had most recently worked as a sand blaster and painter at Allan Enterprises. He enjoyed playing slots, fishing, traveling, working and either walking or riding his bike to pick up pop cans on the side of the road. On September 26, 2020, Mike was united in marriage to Mary Birke. Michael is survived by his wife, Mary. Children: Michael (Spring) See of Washington and Mark (fiancé Ashley) See of Ephrata, Washington. Step children: Michael Moore of Grundy Center, Alex Birke of Grundy Center, Matthew (fiancé Julez) Daniels of Newton and Brandon Steele of Mason City. Siblings: Dixie Fritz, Connie (Larry Stanley) See, Valerie (Bill) Maine and David See. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Velma Behun, Leonard See and Steven Rozenberg. He is also preceded in death by his nephew, David See and great nephew, Austin Donohue.
