Marian D. Phillips

Marian D. Phillips was born on 9/17/1930 in Wendel, West Virginia. She was a mother, nurse, caretaker and friend to all. She passed on 10/27/2020. She was married to David William Phillips, Sr., who predeceased her in death. She is survived by her sons: Robert J. Phillips and David W. Phillips, Jr., grandchildren David Wayne (D.W.) and Cheryl Mahn (grandson-in-law, Mark Mahn), brother Thomas Hanson and his wife Karen, and their three daughters: Michelle, Kristina, and Tracy. Marian is also survived by multiple grandnieces and grandnephews. Marian was a nurse for over 40 years in Ohio, and later at INOVA Fairfax and Fauquier Hospital. A faithful Catholic at St. John the Evangelist in Warrenton, she loved to run the gift shop there and help wherever she could. She was also a long-time member of the Legion of Mary. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 21 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 271 Winchester Street, Warrenton, Virginia. Interment will take place at the Warrenton Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
