Ashante Marie Weathers, age 37, passed away in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 26, 2020. She was born to Darrell R. Thompson and Arlette Davis in Omaha, Nebraska, on September 2, 1983. She graduated from Burke High School in 2001. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Louis Weathers and paternal grandfather Hiawatha Thompson. She is survived by her father Darrell (Sandra) and mother Arlette (Tony); children Zariah Monet Weathers, Elijah James Richardson, and Meccca Marie Richardson; significant other James Richardson; paternal grandmother Gracie Osby; maternal grandmother Lillie Weathers; aunts Dianne and Georgia (John); uncles Larry (Pam), Carl (Tiffany), Nelson, and Clyde; special friend's Gina Amatulli and Nikeba Latham; cousins Steven, Carlina, Skyler, LaVelle, Shantel, Precious, Ashley, Carlise, Lavone, and Talean; and a host of other family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
