On October 27, 2020, Susan Louise Roesler passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Susan is survived by her husband and best friend Bruce, her children Kent, his wife Brittany, Kyle, his wife Elle, granddaughter Madeline, sisters Cindy, Rena, and Kim, and mother Cynthia Cox. Susan was born on February 21st, 1964 in Detroit, MI. She graduated from Livonia Churchill in 1982 with her high school sweetheart, Bruce. She went on to attend Eastern Michigan University where she graduated in 1986 with a degree in Elementary Education. Susan married Bruce in 1987. They welcomed Kent in 1989 and Kyle in 1991. Susan was an incredible mother, who dedicated her time and life to her family. They traveled the world together, valued family time above all else, and was her boy’s biggest supporter at their endless sporting events. She was the best Nana to her granddaughter Madeline and her beloved grandpuppies, Layla and Wesley. Susan loved to spoil them endlessly. She lived her life with love, a passion for fun, and lived with no regrets. Susan had a great impact on all that met her- her warm and outgoing personality drew people in. She was generous, thoughtful, and loved by all. Susan beat cancer by how she lived, why she lived, and the manner in which she lived. The family asks that donations be sent to Karmanos Cancer institute in her honor, lieu of flowers. https://www.karmanos.org/karmanos-foundation/tribute-gifts-karmanos-foundation Susan was loved by all and loved a good time. She would want to celebrate with all of her loved ones, without restrictions. Due to the current situation, the Celebration of Life for Susan will be planned for August 21, 2021, with more details to come.
