Mary Ann Yankowski of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw, OK. She was 73. Mary was born April 12, 1947 in Joplin, MO to Ralph and Florence (Eppwright) Ragsdale. She had lived in the Commerce, Picher and Miami area most of her life. Mary graduated from Commerce High School Class of 1965. She was a bus driver for Picher – Cardin Schools for 15 years. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Yankowski, 1 grandchild Angel Yankowski, her parents and 2 brothers Gene Ragsdale and Steven Ragsdale. Survivors include 1 son Ronnie Yankowski and wife Jean of Miami, OK, 1 daughter Lana Ellick and husband Shawn of Stroud, OK, 2 brothers Jack Ragsdale of Miami, OK and Jimmy Ragsdale of Miami, OK, 4 grandchildren Nathan Yankowski, Kori McCarville, Billie Ellick and Chayton Ellick and 4 great grandchildren Bristol McCarville, Briar McCarville, Blaize McCarville and Blakelynn Ellick. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2020 at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Danny Garner will officiate. Joe Turner, Damon VonMoss, Bill Ellick, Damian Blackfox, Scott Waybright and Brian Waybright will serve as pallbearers. Nathan Yankowski, Billie Ellick and Clayton Ellick will serve as honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. The family requests those attending the visitation or graveside wear a mask and observe social distancing.
