Mary J. Falcone Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary J. Falcone on October 28, 2020. Mary was born on January 5, 1940 to Mary and John Caridi. She attended White Plains High School and graduated in 1958. Mary met her husband Kevin in 1960 and on November 24, 1962 they married; they spent almost 60 years together. Mary and Kevin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in style, renewing their vows at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Mary is survived by her loving husband Kevin, son Kevin Falcone Jr. (Laureen), daughter Dawn DeRaffele (Sal), her daughter and loving caregiver Marlo Falcone; and her treasured grandchildren (for whom she was affectionately known as Mema) Danny and Brianna DeRaffele, and Deanna and Kayla Falcone. Mary also leaves behind her sister Josephine, brother Sal, sister Rose, brother-in-law Manny, brother-in-law Frank, sister-in-law Nancy, sister-in-law Joan as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Mary and John Caridi, sisters Phyllis and Carol; brothers Carmen, Peter, Anthony, Paul and John. When recently asked what she treasured most, Mary responded, “spending time with my family”. Mary will always be remembered as quick to laugh, slow to anger and was notorious for her unwavering strength. Her table was always open for all to enjoy her delicious cooking and she will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
