<p><strong>Ms. Dorethar Morris Longstreet</strong> of Tampa passed away, Thursday, October 22, 2020.&nbsp; Homegoing services will be conducted Saturday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Preservation Church, 2702 Causeway Center Drive, Tampa, FL 33619 with Pastor Jerry Couzens, officiating.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Ms. Dorethar Morris Longstreet was a native of Albany, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for many years.&nbsp; She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was employed by the Federal Court House, Environmental Services Department.</p> <p>She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Mae Francis Miller; lifetime partner, John E. Reeves, Sr.; children, Cory Carter, Jermaine Reeves (Lonnye), Gerald Reeves (Nate&rsquo;Kemma), Debra Reeves and John Reeves (Sharon), Stephanie Reeves-Brooks, Reginald Reeves (Shia), and Cynethia Snell; grandchildren, Shermaine Reeves, Ja&rsquo;miah Reeves, Jer&rsquo;laysia Reeves, Kourage Reeves, Jer&rsquo;zahria Reeves, Gerald Reeves Jr., Geramia Reeves, Cory Carter, Jr. and Jacob Carter; six sisters, Gail Longstreet, Annette Longstreet, Lois Longstreet, Sandra Longstreet, Patricia Longstreet and Mary Longstreet; three brothers, James (Dana), Richard (Connie) and Charlie Longstreet; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; extended family, Siriya and Helen Isidore, Rhonda Blocker, Maxine Riley, Kathy Pringley, Maria Doyle and Debra Dabney.</p> <p>The visitation will be held, Friday, October 30, from 3 &ndash; 7 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33607.&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>
